Third Surgery?
I have heard of the hip replacements from DePuy some time ago. Then a couple of months back, I heard the news that a couple of their products have been recalled because of factory defects. The company was the one that issued the statement because it seems that the patients that were installed with their latest products in the last couple of months needed a second operation.
Although the defective products may be replaced with the help of a Depuy recall attorney, will the new item mean that the patient will again undergo another surgery? I mean, they already had two surgeries because of the defective product, will they have another one? Oh no! I think that the company should really give proper compensation to the patients. However, I still think that no amount of money can pay the damages (like emotional and psychological) that the patients must have gone through.
